My branch of the family is descended from Richard via the following path:

I'm interested in any information about this branch, particularly from
the first Louis (1780-1871) forward. That Louis lived in Onondaga, NY and
married Lucy Howe. His descendants are apparently scattered throughout
central New York, but I only know of the ones closer to Louis Emmett (1856-1946).
There are several letters and charts I've inherited that pertain to
the people in my branch, and I've committed some of them to digital form
for other researchers and/or curious people to enjoy. These are:

compiled by my grandfather, Walker Bevins Lounsbery. It's a rough outline
of what he could pull together at the time (1943).

with Helen (Lounsbery) Sayles in 1896.

biography of my great-great-grandfather, Louis L. Lounsbery. He had
a long and interesting life (IMHO), and it was the discovery of this letter
that inspired me to begin my genealogical research on October 30, 1996.
